Island Flavors, Southern Heart

It all began in a humble kitchen, where Simone crafted meals rich in flavor and love. Lopez, stationed at Fort Bragg, shared these plates with fellow soldiers, sparking the idea that great food could bring people together, no matter where they were from.

On April 1, 2022, that dream became reality when we opened our first doors at 3057 Boone Trail Ext, Fayetteville, NC. Originally named L&S Nyamings, it wasn’t long before we found a name that truly represented our journey and spirit — SimLo’s Island Cafe — a perfect blend of Simone and Lopez’s vision, with a little help from a dear friend.

Building on the success of SimLo's Island Cafe, we soon opened our second restaurant, Jerk Hut, further expanding our footprint and offering even more vibrant island flavors.

Most recently, Simone and Lopez unveiled their latest culinary venture, Simlo's Unmatched, a testament to their continuous innovation and dedication to creating unforgettable dining experiences.
